Time Frame

The time frame for the Bright Ideas program has been extended to increase the time teachers have to apply for grants and to encourage creative, out-of-the-box ideas:

April 19, 2010: North Carolina’s electric cooperatives will begin accepting applications.

August 16, 2010: Early-bird deadline. Submit your application on or before this date and be entered to win a $500 Visa gift card.

September 20, 2010: Application deadline-To find your sponsoring cooperatives’ deadline, search for your school here.
